Hyundai revealed the concept version of the Genesis Coupe on November 14, 2007. The unveiling was hosted by John Krafcik (VP of Product Development for Hyundai Motor America) and Joel Piaskowski (Chief Designer for Hyundai's Californian Design Center). The Concept Genesis Coupe was described by Krafcik as "the most emotional, most passionate car from Hyundai ever."
